Capital equipment rebates. Contractor plant on temporary admission. Commissioning spares assessed correctly. One NamRA-licensed team, full project lifecycle — greenfield to closeout.
What we handle
Greenfield mining project
Capital equipment arriving over 18–36 months. Rebate Item 460.03 applied to eligible plant. Contractor equipment on TA. Consumables duty-assessed separately. Full packing-list segregation from procurement stage.
Wrong: treating all project cargo as one category. The duty exposure on consumables and contractor equipment is a cost your project finance model must absorb — or manage correctly.
EPC contractor mobilisation
Excavators, cranes, welding machines, modular site offices, survey equipment — all entering Namibia with full intent to re-export. TA permits filed before arrival. Bond quantum arranged. Re-export tracked as a project closeout task.
Wrong: assuming the main equipment rebate covers contractor tools and consumables. Every category has a different customs treatment — mixed-lot clearance without segregation creates audit liability.
Operating mine — ongoing import programme
Replacement parts, capital spares, reagents, lubricants, and periodic capital additions. A sustained declaration programme under the correct HS codes, with rebate items applied consistently and an audit-ready documentation trail.
Wrong: inconsistent HS code application between shipments. NamRA's post-clearance audit compares classification across your full declaration history. Inconsistency is a finding.
Scope of service
Capital equipment rebate applications, TA permit filing, bond procurement, re-export tracking, duty-paid assessment for consumables, and a full audit trail — all under NamRA licence. One team manages the full programme so your project team manages projects.
