Service & pricing brief. We coordinate your SAD 500 clearances end to end across the Ariamsvlei/Nakop and Noordoewer/Vioolsdrif border posts, so your consignments move without delays or surprise charges.
Duty-free doesn’t mean VAT-free
SA-origin goods are duty-free under SACU, but Namibia applies the 10% import uplift to SA goods too — there is no SACU exemption on the Namibian side. Import VAT is therefore about 16.5% of the FOB value, even though customs duty is 0%. It is deferrable and reclaimable where the importer is VAT-registered in Namibia. This is a government charge, not our fee.

How we work: WalvisLink is a customs-clearance platform.
